Homebuyers Tree Reports
for Mortage & Insurance purposes
If you are in the process of purchasing a property, you may have been asked by your mortgage lender for a tree report, these may also be called an 'arboricultural report' or 'pre-purchase tree report'. Our tree reports will satisfy your mortgage lender and also include recommended arboricultural management for the long-term health of the trees at your new home.
We are based on the Dorset-Wiltshire border but carry out tree surveys across the South of England.
We understand that purchasing property can be stressful and so we endeavour to make our contribution as easy for you as possible.
To provide you with a quote we will require your name, contact details and the address of the property. We are always happy to contact the current occupier or estate agent to arrange access so you don't have to.
-
Why have I been asked for a tree report?Your potential mortgage lender will want to know if there is a potential risk of subsidence to the property from nearby trees and shrubs. We will visit the property to survey the trees and then produce a report to satisfy the needs of your lender.
-
What happends if the trees are likely to cause subsidence to the house? If we find that there is a potential risk of building related subsidence from adjacent trees then it is our responsibility to highlight this in our report. Worry not, this can be resolved by either pruning or the removal of the problem tree/s.
-
How much will the tree survey and report cost?Prices normally start from £250 but it will depend upon the number of trees that need to be included. If you would like to know how much it would cost for a tree mortgage report for, please feel free to get in touch for a free quote.
-
How long until until I get a completed report? We strive to complete our tree reports within 48 hours of carrying out the tree survey.
